Americana Vibes, the label responsible for the Infamous Stringdusters’ recent Grammy-nominated Tribute to Bill Monroe, is very pleased to present its first in a series of digital compilation releases, Summertime in the Mountains. The compilation was hand-picked to represent the wide spectrum of sounds not only offered by label artists, but as a definition for where the bluegrass and Americana genres are meeting and evolving.

“There’s no time like right now to showcase the tremendous efforts put forward by the Americana Vibes artists,” shared Ariel Rosemberg, label manager. “We are so fortunate to be represented in today’s market by some of the finest sounds in bluegrass and Americana. There is an evolution happening in this space right before our eyes and to represent that sound in our first-to-market compilation is honor in and of itself.”

Americana Vibes was founded at the tail end of 2020 in partnership between Grammy-award winning group, The Infamous Stringdusters and Regime Music Group as a way to honor the legacy of Americana tradition with a keen emphasis on the sounds of the future coming from within the space.

Since its inception, the label has put out records for the Dusters (who went on to receive a Grammy nomination for Best Bluegrass Album for their work on A Tribute to Bill Monroe), Midnight North, the Sweet Lillies, Wood Belly, Tyler Grant and Morse - plus select solo releases from members of the Dusters - all in a variety of configurations including digital-only, physical releases and limited edition Record Store Day items.

The idea with this release is to simply offer a retrospective look at the label’s early releases, thematically geared towards having a kick-ass summer. So, while you’ve got your bags packed and festival tickets in-hand, drop this on your next summer adventure.
