Bay Area funk-inspired outfit, the California Honeydrops, announce a two-night celebration, August 24-25 on the LAWN at The Surf Hotel in beautiful Buena Vista, CO, adjacent to the hotel in the heart of town's South Main District.
"Buena Vista has a slice of Colorado to offer everyone," shared Ariel Rosemberg. "We're stoked we can carve out a slice for the Honeydrops in what's one of the most beautiful, and most intimate musical settings in the state." For those unfamiliar with the Honeydrops, their shows are more like parties than traditional concerts, featuring extensive off-stage jamming and crowd interaction.
Surf Hotel owner, Jed Selby shared, “I can’t tell you how ready I am for a dance party, it has been way too long! Having this legendary band play in Buena Vista is always an amazing treat. I’m stoked for this run!”
'We (The Honeydrops) are psyched to get back to beautiful Buena Vista,' shared Ben Malament of the Honeydrops. 'It’s going to be so nice to play for the people under that big pretty sky. Live music with some excellent summer scenery. What’s not to love? We can’t wait.'
And as previously announced, Leftover Salmon will also be gracing the LAWN stage with a special July 4 weekend event featuring Tejon Street Corner Thieves, Polish Ambassador, DeadPhish Orchestra and more.
“If you could dream up the perfect post-Covid 4th of July party, you couldn’t do it better than this,” shared Andy Thorn. “We’ll be at the Surf Hotel in Buena Vista, reuniting with our community over music, roaring river sounds and those epic Collegiate Peak sunsets. Add the luxurious lodge and the fantastic restaurant, and you’ve got a perfect holiday weekend! Come celebrate with us!”
