On Sunday, July 10th, emergent northeast jam quintet Dogs in a Pile will host its inaugural golf outing at the picturesque Bel Aire Golf Course in Wall Township, NJ. Hosted in partnership with prominent music content creators Long Strange Putt (IG:@longstrangeputt), the event will feature a scramble-style tournament for thirty two golfers, followed by an intimate performance by eminent Jersey Shore music collective Sandy Mack and Friends (with special guests). Event proceeds will be donated to Jersey Shore Animal Center, an Ocean County-based nonprofit that aims to rescue, care for and rehome unwanted, abused, abandoned and sick animals.
“We’ve been friendly with @longstrangeputt for almost a year now and have been trying to come up with an idea to work together to throw a great event, while giving back to our local community,” said Ross Peterzell (Manager - Dogs in a Pile). “We’re all big animal people, and this seems like the best way to combine music, golf, and a good old fashioned dogs throw down, while supporting local businesses and a very meaningful cause.”
Ticket sales commence on Friday, June 10th, with free admission to the after show guaranteed for all purchasers. Participants will also have the first opportunity to purchase never-before-seen, Dogs in a Pile merchandise, including limited-edition shirts, pins, and prints created for the event. All proceeds will benefit the Jersey Shore Animal Shelter.
