Renowned Maryland funk quartet Pigeons Playing Ping Pong is thrilled to announce a return to North Carolina for a performance at Pisgah Brewing Company on Friday, May 16th.  Located in the picturesque Black Mountains, this show promises to be an unforgettable jam-filled soiree at one of Western NC’s most renowned outdoor stages. Pisgah Brewing Company has established itself as a cornerstone of live music in North Carolina, for the last twenty years, offering an unparalleled outdoor concert experience surrounded by stunning mountain views.

Joining the band for the evening is the talented Natalie Brooke. Renowned for her dynamic keyboard chops and captivating vocals, the DMV-based Brooke has earned recent notoriety for igniting stages up and down the east coast.

"Like everyone else in the country, we were stunned and devastated to see the impact of Hurricane Helene on Asheville last fall," said singer/guitarist "Scrambled Greg" Ormont. "We immediately did what we could to give back to that amazing community, whose support has meant the world to us over the years. While we couldn't play our scheduled show there in November, we're overjoyed to return this May to inject some love back into the area. Asheville shows always feel special, but this one's going to be on a whole other level."

The announcement comes on the heels of the announcement of their much-anticipated live album, Live at The Capitol Theatre, a recording of their sold-out performance at Port Chester, NY’s historic venue on February 3, 2024. Available as a stunning four-vinyl set, the album captures the magic of an iconic night that features special guest appearances and electrifying renditions of fan-favorite selections from the band’s extensive catalog. The vinyl is available for pre-order now.
