Pigeons Playing Ping Pong is proud to announce the release of their highly anticipated live album, Live at The Capitol Theatre on April 18, 2025. Capturing every electrifying moment of their sold-out show at the storied Port Chester, NY venue on February 3, 2024, the album stands as a testament to the band's unparalleled live energy and the unshakeable bond they share with their fans. The record will be released on limited edition vinyl in partnership with Relix and is available for pre-order on vinyl beginning today. The album is also available for digital pre-order, with the 17-minute single, “Couldn’t We All”, streaming on all platforms now.

Pigeons’ 2024 show at The Capitol Theatre was a funky, feel-good celebration of life, fueled by an exuberant capacity crowd. Featuring a jaw-dropping setlist jam-packed with original music spanning the band’s seven studio albums, the collection also includes a danceable reimagination of The Beatles’ 1968 classic, “While My Guitar Gently Weeps.” Fans can also relive the guest appearance of acclaimed guitarist and Berklee professor Tomo Fujita, who joined Pigeons on stage to lend his virtuosic touch to classics like “Indiglo,” “F.U.,” “Overtime,” and “Zydeko.”

“It’s hard to put the magic of The Capitol Theatre into words,” said singer/guitarist “Scrambled Greg” Ormont. “Hopefully you can hear it through our music on this live recording, which was greatly influenced by the storied history of the venue, the wild energy of the crowd, and our full appreciation for the moment. If you told me when we first started that we would eventually release an official live album headlining The Capitol Theatre, I’d be stunned. Now that we’ve played there a bunch and experienced the magic firsthand, I’m not surprised that it brought out the best in us. It’s just that special.”

Live at The Capitol Theatre will be available as a stunning vinyl release, spanning four records to accommodate the expansive setlist and exploratory jams. Pre-orders for the first pressing are available now.
