Chris Robinson Brotherhood announce the second leg of their 'Barefoot In The Head' U.S. tour. The 35-date run, stretching from September though November, supports their new studio album of the same name due July 21 on Robinson's own Silver Arrow Records. The tour covers much of the U.S. with stops across the Gulf Coast, Southeast, Northeast and Midwest. Along the way they'll return to The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY, make their first ever performance at the historic Columbus Theatre in Providence, RI and play three two-night stands at Variety Playhouse in Atlanta, GA, Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh, NC and Ardmore Music Hall in Ardmore, PA. The CRB kick off the run off with three shows in Florida supporting Blackberry Smoke, while the remainder of the dates will be "An Evening With..." headline performances featuring two sets each night.
Accompanying the Chris Robinson Brotherhood's rigorous tour schedule is their most prolific songwriting and recording period to date. 'Barefoot In The Head' is the band's third collection of new material in just two years, in addition to a just released live set, 'Betty’s Blends, Vol. 3,' produced by legendary recording engineer and Grateful Dead archivist, Betty Cantor-Jackson. The CRB's second single "High Is Not The Top" is available now to share. It will be released via streaming services this Friday, June 2.
"After six years of solid touring with this band, we can still roll into Fayetteville, Arkansas on a Tuesday night and have the most fun of any musical thing I've ever been a part of. We don't have the weight of responsibility or nostalgia, which means we're in the very psychedelic situation of getting to be totally honest and create everything in the moment," says Chris Robinson. "The music that we make, the concerts that we play, it's this world we've created for ourselves and our people. We want everybody to understand that no matter where you are in your life that you can always be barefoot in your head. There's always this other place you can go."
