Sweet Holiday Sessions is due out December 3 on Americana Vibes.
The album features Chris Pandolfi (banjo), Sally Van Meter (dobro), and Amethyst Starr (vocals) on select tracks throughout, and promises to be as nostalgic as it is original from start to finish.
“We love the holiday season and cherish the time with family and friends” says bassist Julie Gussaroff, who also produced the album. “The compilation of songs on this album are near and dear to all of our hearts. They represent special experiences for all of us from our earliest memories and we wanted to do traditional songs with the Sweet Lillies’ feel.”
Julie says “As the producer My goal was to make each song unique and have a different feel in that sense very much like any Sweet Lillies’ show in which versatility is valued by all of us. We hope you enjoy our intrepid vision for these traditional pieces and have very happy holidays.”
Sweet Holiday Sessions marks the band’s first dive into a concept project. It is their fourth studio album and second to be released under the Americana Vibes label, spearheaded by The Infamous Stringdusters. The album will feature 9 holiday classics and be released digitally on all streaming platforms.
The band is also pleased to offer a merchandise bundle to go along with the release available now for pre-order through the label’s store https://store-benchmark.com/collections/americana-vibes/the-sweet-lillies. Fans can also pre-save across digital streaming platforms https://fanlink.to/SL_SHS
