Grateful Web recently had the pleasure of interviewing musical pioneer David Satori ahead of his upcoming show, The Psychedelic Hoedown, set to take place at the Fox Theatre on Saturday, October 26th, 2024. Known for co-founding genre-blending groups Beats Antique and Dirtwire, David is now exploring new horizons with his solo project.

Lightning in a Bottle's 20th anniversary unfolded at Buena Vista Lake in Southern California from May 24-29, 2023. Beats Antique constantly strives for knowledge and experience in this world of new challenges, and it understands that we must look towards our past to understand the future. To do this, it is imperative to understand that music is a combination of imaginative invention and the foundation of those who came before us. Beats Antique’s newest single, “Sage,” speaks to this duality of having experience and searching for guidance to soar further.

Same Same But Different Festival (SSBD) is excited to unveil the lineup for their second annual music and arts festival happening Sept 20-21, 2019. This two-day event will celebrate the end of summer in a jaw-dropping setting and feature a diverse range of multi-genre musical acts across the festival’s two stages. Headliners Baauer and Beats Antique will be joined by Turkuaz, Exmag, Cofresi, Megan Hamilton, Capyac, Baby Fuzz and many more.

March 29th, on a drizzly spring evening in Chicago, Trevor Hall and Dirtwire performed at Concord Music Hall to an all-ages show. The show collided two tribal influenced acts into one wholesome performance that nourished the crowd. After treating audiences of this tour to their new single “Strength in One”, the track is now out available for all to hear.  

2019 marks the 7 Year Celebration of Colorado’s most beloved music festival, ARISE. Committed to producing an annual gathering that is a vehicle for building and strengthening community, this co-creative and collaborative festival offers a wide variety of exhibitions including performers, artists, musicians, thought-leaders, creators, vendors and sponsors, all sharing their art to support the ARISE movement.

Bay Area band Beats Antique has announced a new music video for their song “Le Refuge.” The video features footage from Richard Wolf’s acclaimed documentary “A Requiem for Syrian Refugees,” which the New York Times called “powerfully direct.” The footage was edited by the band’s own David Satori.
