When we last spoke with Molly Tuttle, she was on a different journey. It was January 2020, and she had just released her first full-length album, When You’re Ready, as a solo artist. A lot has changed since then! 

The organic jamtronica meets EDM quintet Sound Tribe Sector Nine will return to New York City for the first time in two years this weekend, September 13-14, 2024. The shows will take place at the industrial Brooklyn Steel, located in the heart of the Williamsburg neighborhood within Brooklyn, NY. This 1800 capacity venue will offer a more intimate experience for local fans with the band than in years past.

As the temperature drops, the wind picks up, and the setting sun over Lake Michigan paints the sky with vivid streaks of orange and pink, fall begins to settle in. I find myself lining up outside The Livery in Benton Harbor, a place steeped in history. Once a city livery where horses and wagons were kept, it has now transformed into a beloved brewery known for excellent food and, perhaps most notably, its great live entertainment.

Philly-based Native Harrow have remained largely independent - musically, professionally, and aesthetically, since their beginning, meticulously crafting and perfecting a sound that is melded together from pieces of folk, soul, and rock n’ roll. On 13th September, they release new album Divided Kind. This album is the lifetime’s work of two scholars of music whose individual backgrounds in the arts have forged a strict artistic discipline that exists in sharp contrast to the more traditionally laissez-faire world of rock and popular music.

Alt-country troubadour NATHAN JACQUES is set to release his epic Western concept album Dark Wanderer and the Bounty Heart via Hidden Mountain Records on September 26th.

After famously playing their second show at Woodstock in August 1969, David Crosby, Stephen Stills, Graham Nash, and Neil Young spent the rest of the year touring and writing songs for what would become CSNY’s 1970 debut, Déjà Vu. A newly discovered multi-track recording of the band’s September 20, 1969, concert at the historic Fillmore East in New York City captures an early moment from that first tour and will be released as a double live album on October 25.

Phish has announced a very special three-night stand at Albany, NY’s MVP Arena on October 25-27, with all proceeds benefiting the Divided Sky Residential Recovery Program and its newly opened facility in Ludlow, Vermont. A ticket request period is currently underway HERE, ending Monday, September 16 at 12pm (ET). Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, September 20 at 10am (ET).
