After a summer of much-praised high-profile festival performances, pop prog rockers Umphrey’s McGee heads indoors this fall to play in many of the country’s most beloved theatres. As always, along the way Umphrey’s continues to raise the bar for fan experiences, with their innovative and interactive Stew Art events planned in at least a few markets, and an incredibly creative first-time offer of “Enhanced Experience” fan packages for their always-epic Halloween Monster Mash-Up in St. Louis on October 30 and 31.

Today, Bear Creek Music Festival announces the addition of moe. to the festival’s already stellar lineup. They join headliners Umphrey’s McGee on November 12-14 at the legendary Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida. Also scheduled to perform are Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, Lettuce, The New Mastersounds, Perpetual Groove, George Porter’s Running Pardners, Toubab Krewe, Zach Deputy, Maceo Parker, Pee Wee Ellis, Fred Wesley, Bernie Worrell, DJ Logic, Soulive, The New Deal, Bonobo Live Band, Eliot Lipp and many others.

Electric Avenue Music and Arts Festival has just announced a Late Night All Star Jam featuring Kyle Hollingsworth and Michael Kang of SCI along with Speech of Arrested Development, Dominic Lalli of Big Gigantic and many others from this historic downtown event (Additional $15).

Bonnaroo has always been a festival that invited the greatest lineups and the most fun attractions for their fans to enjoy year after year. I have attended 7 out of the 9 annual events, and although I was not too impressed by this year’s lineup initially, the festival and its organizers did not disappoint.

Ticket sales for the fifth annual YarmonyGrass Festival are now underway. The high country camping event known for unrivaled mountain activities and top shelf national talent will take place in Bond, CO on August 20-22nd offering concert goers an experience that is as good for the soul as it is for the ears.

Its been many years since I have seen Rush play and I'm glad I finally got to see them again. Rush has a very dedicated fan base and when tickets go on sale for their shows, they sell out in minutes. That was the case with this years Red Rocks show and is also why they added an additional second show to their Colorado run. The other reason these specific shows sold out so fast, is because Rush has been spending this tour covering their 1981 classic 'Moving Pictures' in its entirety.
