Shooter Jennings and Watkins Family Hour join The Milk Carton Kids and Sam Lewis for the Saturday, March 28 PBS TV Taping of Bluegrass Underground. Tickets available now!

This event is a rare opportunity to see brother sister duo, Sean and Sara Watkins, as Watkins Family Hour, a project they started in 2002 in Los Angeles to try out some original songs and a few covers that wouldn’t work in Nickel Creek.

Fanatic would only begin to describe the enthusiasm with which devotees of Jam Band community staples Goose and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong brought to Los Angels’ historic Troubadour for the second and final night of their weekend residency. The line stretched the full block and around the corner an hour before Goose was set to take the stage.

The ever-evolving and greatly loved Levitate Music & Arts Festival is proud to announce the 2020 lineup for its eighth annual  event happening July 10-12, 2020. The team at Levitate has been thinking about summer all winter long and is proud to announce a lineup to warm the soul: Jack Johnson, Phil Lesh & Friends, Stick Figure, Tash Sultana, Old Crow Medicine Show, Dirty Heads, Umphrey’s McGee, Moe., Toots and the Maytals, Trevor Hall, Billy Strings, Mt. Joy, and many more.

A lively capacity crowd erupted as Goose kicked off their 2020 winter/spring tour with a high-octane rendition of their original “Drive,” followed by a seamless segue into Wes Montgomery classic “Switchin’.” Attendees maintained their focus throughout the first set, as colorful solos by Rich Mitarotonda (guitar, vocals) and Peter Anspach (guitar, keys, vocals) carried “Lead the Way” and “Elizabeth.” For many, the highlight of set one was the 13-minute rendition of the Bill Withers classic “Lovely Day,” followed by a rousing rendition of “Honeybee.,” debuted last month at Goosemas.
