It all started in the Haight Ashbury over 50 years ago: from the psychedelic ballroom bands of the late 1960's, the Grateful Dead emerged and went on to have a robust 30-year career with Jerry Garcia and another 24+ years post-Garcia. Rather than sticking with a scripted set list, the band flowed into the unfamiliar territory of improvisational concert celebrations that broke down the boundaries between musician and audience.

The Borderland Music and Arts Festival, taking place at Knox Farm State Park in East Aurora, NY, on September 21st and 22nd has announced the daily line-up and the availability of single day tickets. A limited amount of single day festival tickets are available for Saturday and Sunday beginning Friday, June 21st at 9 am.

Gov't Mule has announced Bring On The Music Fall Tour kicking off on September 12th in Portland, ME. The upcoming run features stops at the famous Fillmore Detroit in Detroit, MI, the Surf Ballroom & Museum in Chicago, IL, the Palace Theatre in St. Paul, MN, and the beloved Tennessee Theatre in Knoxville, TN. Grace Potter and Higher Ground Presents announced today that Gov’t Mule has been added to the lineup for the 2019 Grand Point North Music Festival, set to take place September 14th and 15th at Burlington, Vermont’s Waterfront Park.  In addition, Warren Haynes will join Potter to perform an acoustic set.  Single day tickets are now on sale for $64.  Two-day passes are available for just $84.

Bring On The Music – Live at The Capitol Theatre is out June 28th via Provogue / Mascot Label Group. The film was captured in a 9-camera shoot during two special nights at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY, in April 2018.  A wide-ranging song selection from Gov’t Mule’s acclaimed catalog is featured on the releases, which will come in a variety of configurations (2 CD/2 DVD deluxe package (the CD and DVD feature entirely different track lists,) two separate double-vinyl packages, digital, Blu-ray and a 2-CD package (featuring audio from the film).

Rock titans Gov't Mule will be returning to Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO on August 18th. A new-found summer tradition following last year's incredible super-sized show, the band will bring their jam-packed set to the legendary Red Rocks for another unforgettable performance.
