Greensky Bluegrass

Greensky Bluegrass are thrilled to announce support for their upcoming 2023 winter tour.  They have announced six bands across 16 dates.  Says Anders Beck,  “traditionally, we have carried the same support band with us for entire tours, but this winter we are changing that model for the sake of mixing it up. There are so many great bands out there to share the road with and jam with... and for me the most exciting thing about this winter is all the different collaborations we will get to have on stage.”

Chart-topping, progressive jamgrass rockers Greensky Bluegrass will headline the 13th annual Rooster Walk Music & Arts Festival this May at Pop’s Farm in Martinsville, Va., festival organizers announced today.

Greensky Bluegrass swept through Eugene’s McDonald Theatre for a night of fall-tastic bluegrass. The essence of the evening illuminated the transition of the seasons, from the epic lyrical storytelling, to the graceful auditory buildups.

Last night in San Diego at the famous Humphrey's By The Bay, three members of the alt/Americana/roots band Greensky Bluegrass joined Bobby Weir & the Wolf Pack for three songs to kick off the band's second set.

Paul Hoffman (mandolin), Michael Bont (banjo) and Anders Beck (dobro) joined the Grateful Dead legend for "Friend of the Devil," "Stealin’" and a spirited take on "Cassidy."

Greensky Bluegrass have announced their Winter Tour 2023.  The 16-date tour will kick off on January 12 in Buffalo, NY, and will travel throughout the East Coast and Midwest including the band's debut performances at the historic Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank, NJ, and the Stanley Theater in Utica, NY.  The winter tour will wrap up with two nights in Chicago on February 3 and 4.

Hoot and holla! Flannel Jam, Levitate’s Fall music festival, returns for its third year this Columbus Day weekend at a New England town near you!

The stardust has settled down so let’s recap the first-ever Sacred Rose Festival. Opening up a new bracket for Chicago by seasoned festival producers, Sacred Rose certainly had some highs and some lows but one thing is for sure Sacred Rose was one for the ages and one we hope will return.

The skies were green in the bluegrass state on Thursday, August 25, when Greensky Bluegrass put on an impressive show at the newly named MegaCorp Pavilion, in Newport, Kentucky.

The inaugural Sacred Rose Fest is less than 2 weeks away. For the first time ever there will be a weekend full of music as diverse as the Grateful Dead in its current form. Phil Lesh playing with Nels Cline and Jeff Tweedy as well as Karl Denson, Stu Allen, Grahame Lesh, Jeff Chimenti, and Elliott Peck all in one headlining slot!?! Khruangbin, JRAD, Umphrey’s McGee, Disco Biscuits, Lotus, Elliott Peck’s Midnight North, Holly Bowling, and the Gone Gone Beyond are kicking it all off?!? The list is exciting and inviting.

Where to even begin when trying to tell you about the last ever Northwest String Summit? To put into words what this last gathering was, and the effect that this festival has had on the Northwest over the last 20 years is nearly impossible. After three long years of waiting out a pandemic, this gathering was what everyone’s heart needed. It truly was a labor of love, and you could feel it in every corner of the venue.
