The full lineup for the 2nd annual Kaw River Roots Festival has been released to the public. Legendary artists Leftover Salmon and Grammy award winners, The Infamous Stringdusters will be headlining. Additional performers include Fireside Collective, Kyle Tuttle's All Stars, The Jon Stickley Trio, Daniel Donato, Opal Agafia, Chain Station, Pretend Friend, Sky Smeed, Lily B Moonflower, The Matchsellers, Jake Keegan Band, Tyler Gregory, Jenna & Martin, and Megan Luttrell.

Jeremy Garrett (a bluegrass fiddler at heart) visits the musical ground on which his career was born with River Wild, his new album out now from Organic Records. Jeremy will be bringing his fiddle science to Denver's Ophelia's this Sunday, June 26 in celebration of his new album. His ever-evolving band will feature Cody Kilby (the Travelin McCourys), Ryan Cavanaugh and local pickers Sam Parks and Denton Turner (Buffalo Commons).

Three years in the making – thanks Covid for putting it on hold – The Hog Farm Hideaway, featuring two improvisational sets from The String Cheese Incident each night, passed its inaugural undertaking with flying colors, so to speak.

Borderland Festival is returning to Knox Farm State Park, September 17 and 18, bringing an experience rooted in community and bursting with musical flair to the region.

In classic Borderland style, the two-day festival will host more than 20 bands on three stages. A diverse mix of national and regional, rock, country and Americana artists will perform at the historic and picturesque Knox Farm.

Headlining the 2022 festival is American psychedelic rock band, The Flaming Lips and alt-rock band, Portugal. The Man.

The Infamous Stringdusters have a long storied career as a band spanning sixteen years of musical magic. You can say they are traditional folk musicians with bluegrass roots and style, or you can simply say they are the masters of jam improvisation and all things in-between, and wherever the music lands on your soul is where it lives and grows into your own personal utopia.

The Infamous Stringdusters have teamed up with the good folks at Backline, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that connects music industry professionals and their families with mental health and wellness resources, to release the video for their new album’s title track, “Toward The Fray," here. Additionally, the band’s dobro player Andy Hall penned an essay about mindfulness and the many benefits exclusively for Backline readers.

Leading up to their show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on May 26th, Grammy-nominated bluegrass genre-benders The Infamous Stringdusters are taking over the Denver area’s local food scene with menu collaborations and giveaways sure to make even the most passive fan crack a smile.

Today, The String Cheese Incident released their first collection of new music since 2017’s Believe. The title track for the new EP, Into The Blue, was penned by SCI’s Michael Kang in 2020 as his mother was diagnosed with an aggressive form of pancreatic cancer. Kang says he saw his mother approach her diagnosis head-on. There didn't seem to be any fear, or sadness.
