Infamous Stringdusters

Telluride Bluegrass, a bucket list festival for artists and music fans alike, is pleased to announce the final two artist additions to its already stacked 49th annual festival lineup which takes place June 16-19 in Telluride, Colorado: Elephant Revival will perform on Saturday and Sihasin featuring Jones Benally will perform on Friday.

Previously announced artists include:

Jeremy Garrett (a bluegrass fiddler at heart) visits the musical ground on which his career was born with River Wild, his new album out now from Organic Records.

To trace the lineage of numerous popular American genres, one only has to turn to the musical history of Chicago and absorb the city’s legacy as a cultural hub of jazz, blues, and rock n’ roll. Now, in honor of The Windy City’s rich background for diverse artistic innovation comes a first-of-its-kind music festival: SACRED ROSE.

The Northern Michigan woods once again hosts an end-of-summer weekend of music as the Hoxeyville Music Festival celebrates 20 years of conscious community August 19 – 21 in Wellston, MI. Artists announced in the initial festival lineup include Railroad Earth, The Infamous Stringdusters, Yonder Mountain String Band, Lindsay Lou, May Erlewine, Larry Keel Experience, Airborne or Aquatic, Full Cord, Arlo McKinley, Mark Lavengood Band, & Earth Radio.

After two long years of anxious hibernation, Oregon is beginning to wake up. Friends are hugging friends, smiles are being shared, and Northwest String Summit and Horning’s Hideout have announced that this year, the 20th anniversary of the music festival, will be moving ahead and will be the very last year for the event known as one of Oregon’s largest and most esteemed bluegrass music festivals. The lineup has been finalized and announced and the event sold out this week!

The title track of The Infamous Stringdusters’ new album Toward the Fray finds the song’s narrator making a decision to get involved, rather than just comment on the sidelines; a thread that weaves through the GRAMMY-nominated band’s entire release, directly reflecting a pivotal moment in its members’ collective consciousness. Toward the Fray is available today via Americana Vibes, click here to download and/or stream.

At heart, Jeremy Garrett is a bluegrass fiddler. Even with his explorations of the genre’s edges as a member of The Infamous Stringdusters — not to mention the boundary-breaking, technology-enhanced solo recordings and performances on his first two projects for Organic Records, Circles (2020) and Wanderer’s Compass (2021) — Garrett has always kept his bluegrass tools sharpened and at the ready.

It could be argued that the very best art is a reflection of the times—and reflect is exactly Jeremy Garrett, the Infamous Stringdusters’ fiddle player, did when he sat down to write “I Didn’t Know” with legendary bluegrass songsmith Jon Weisberger. “This song was written during the pandemic and just after George Floyd was murdered,” says Garrett.

Americana/alt-country and roots-rock band, Greensky Bluegrass are kicking off 2022 with a brand new song, and the title track off their forthcoming album "Stress Dreams." Stress Dreams is due out on January 21 via Thirty Tigers.

"Stress Dreams" follows the releases of "Absence of Reason," "Grow Together,"  and "Monument."
