Closing out the month of July, the production triumph that is Planet Bluegrass made the magic happen once again with the legendary three-day event RockyGrass.

THE HOG FARM HIDEAWAY music festival will take place June 9-11 at the legendary Black Oak Ranch in Laytonville, California. The event is presented by an independent, women-owned production company called Shooting Star Events. As part of the lead up to this exciting event, the producers are taking the opportunity during Women’s History Month to shine a spotlight on the many strong women who are involved on the stage and behind the scenes.

GRAMMY-nominated singer, songwriter and musician Molly Tuttle and her band, Golden Highway, made their late-night television debut this past Friday performing their song, “Crooked Tree,” on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Watch/share HERE.

The performance adds to a landmark year for Tuttle, who is nominated for Best New Artist and Best Bluegrass Album (Crooked Tree) at the 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards.

The full lineup for the 2nd annual Kaw River Roots Festival has been released to the public. Legendary artists Leftover Salmon and Grammy award winners, The Infamous Stringdusters will be headlining. Additional performers include Fireside Collective, Kyle Tuttle's All Stars, The Jon Stickley Trio, Daniel Donato, Opal Agafia, Chain Station, Pretend Friend, Sky Smeed, Lily B Moonflower, The Matchsellers, Jake Keegan Band, Tyler Gregory, Jenna & Martin, and Megan Luttrell.

She finishes playing an original song, “Over The Line,” and Molly Tuttle suddenly beams a big smile towards a big crowd. It’s clear that she’s taking it all in as the audience rises up out of their chairs to give a standing ovation. It's a wonderful little moment, and at a point in which the show is only half over. Tuttle, one of modern bluegrass' most recent promising hotshots, has been selling out shows one after the other on her current tour with her ensemble Golden Highway.

Acclaimed singer, songwriter and musician Molly Tuttle’s new song, “Big Backyard,” featuring special guests Old Crow Medicine Show alongside her new bluegrass collective, Golden Highway, is debuting today. Molly Tuttle releases “She’ll Change” today on Nonesuch Records. The new track, from her forthcoming Nonesuch debut, is co-written by Tuttle and Old Crow Medicine Show’s Ketch Secor and is performed by an all-star ensemble of Nashville musicians, including Ron Block, Michael “Mike” Bub, Jason Carter, Dominick Leslie, Tina Adair; the recording also features Jerry Douglas, who co-produced the song with Tuttle.

Shawnee Cave Amphitheater announces a stellar bluegrass lineup for its Memorial Day weekend event. The event will take place May 28-30 with music all three nights, for these family friendly shows. Weekend at the Cave is bringing some of the best progressive jamgrass bands back to beautiful Southern Illinois.
