Dead & Company's Final Tour rolled on to Queens, NY for a two-night stand at Citi Field, home of the NY Mets. Night one in the Big Apple kicked off on June 21, 2023, at this MLB stadium, with a capacity of around 41,000 fans. The band brought two vibrant sets that included a sit-in by drummer Joe Russo, from Joe Russo's Almost Dead.

The stars must have been perfectly aligned over Saratoga Springs Performing Arts Center (SPAC) on the evening of June 18, 2023. Celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Grateful Dead's maiden show at the very same venue, Dead & Company staged a performance that was not only a tribute to the music and legacy of the Grateful Dead but a testament to the enduring resonance of the band's music and culture.

On Tuesday, June 13, Dead and Company made their fifth and final stop in Cincinnati for one final night with the Queen City Deadheads. In an effort to leave a memorable impression on the sold-out crowd at Riverbend Music Center, the band delivered an unbelievable performance that is sure to echo in the memories of the audience for years to come.

Dead and Company made their final run at Wrigley Field absolutely memorable for all who were in attendance. Since they began their farewell run at JazzFest, expectations have been through the roof at each and every stop so far. Wrigley was no different. They have been putting on epic shows at the Friendly Confines for years. And this year’s run was no different.

Dead & Company kicked off their Final Tour Saturday with a headlining single set at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. Lightning and torrential rains delayed the festivities, with gates opening over an hour past the 11:00 am schedule, causing some of the earlier slated bands to be scrapped. The rain held off for most of Dead & Co’s electric-only set. The sun even managed to make a late-set appearance.

As the Dead & Company prepare for their final Farewell Tour this summer, the bands legendary percussionist, Mickey Hart, will present his newest art collection, the Art of Mickey Hart during two of the groups tour stops. Hart is scheduled to appear at the Wentworth Gallery at Tysons Galleria in McLean VA on Sunday, June 4th at 2 pm and on Friday, June 23rd at 6:30 pm at the Wentworth Gallery at Short Hills Mall in Short Hill, NJ. These two exclusive art showings will be private and intimate for patrons.

Greenwich Entertainment is proud to present the release of their latest music documentary, Let There Be Drums! –– directed by Justin Kreutzmann, son of The Grateful Dead's drummer Bill Kreutzmann. The new film is an examination into the essential role drumming plays in great bands and how music passes from generation to generation.

Are drummers born that way or do they become that way? Does the urge to create rhythm and be an integral part of a band emanate from something within—or is it learned?

DEAD & COMPANY is launching its 2023 summer tour on Friday, May 19th and Saturday, May 20th in Los Angeles at the Kia Forum with dates running through Friday, July 14th and Saturday, July 15th when the tour ends in San Francisco at Oracle Park.  The band - Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, John Mayer, and Bob Weir, with Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti – will perform two sets of music drawing from the Grateful Dead’s historic catalog of songs.

Today, two-time Grammy Award winning group Planet Drum is releasing the exuberant “King Clave” from their upcoming album In the Groove, out August 5th.  Master musicians  Mickey Hart (USA),  Zakir Hussain (India), Giovanni Hidalgo (Puerto Rico) and Sikiru Adepoju (Nigeria) are Planet Drum, and “King Clave” is based on a 6,000 person drum circle (which Hart directed in 2004) which establishes the rhythm that connects the musical cultures around the world.
