It was a night that whispered of echoes, of journeys past and present, and of a legacy that refuses to be silenced.

Renowned Grateful Dead drummer and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Mickey Hart, in collaboration with Terrapin Station Entertainment, is thrilled to announce a special art exhibit and digital auction. The event celebrates their involvement in the Dead & Co. Dead Forever Experience and honors Jerry Garcia’s birthday on August 1st.

I didn’t plan on going to the Sphere to see Dead and Company (a.k.a. “Dead & Co.”) during their months-long “Dead Forever” residency. But after missing U2 and Phish during the inaugural year of the high-tech Las Vegas arena, it was high time I went to check out the uber-visual experience. It doesn’t hurt that Dead & Co.

Animazing Gallery in Las Vegas announced plans today to feature “Visions of the Dead: A Grateful Dead Art and Photography Exhibition” set to coincide with Dead & Company’s “Dead Forever – Live at Sphere” residency in Las Vegas.

Today, March 9th, 2024, we at Grateful Web journey across the cosmic waves to pay homage to this legendary figure, a beacon in the world of music, on his birthday.

Announced today, a Caribbean concert vacation dubbed “Dead Ahead Festival”. This all-inclusive vacation experience will be hosted at Moon Palace Resort in Riviera Cancún, Mexico January 12-15, 2024. The event will celebrate the Grateful Dead songbook featuring two nights of curated collaborations themed “Dead Ahead” with Bobby Weir, Mickey Hart, Jeff Chimenti, Oteil Burbridge, Don Was & Jay Lane featuring Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi, Rick Mitarotonda, Margo Price and very special guest Sturgill Simpson.

Celebrating the long-lasting impact and unparalleled creativity of Francis Ford Coppola's 1979 classic, "Apocalypse Now", we invite you to delve once again into the unique percussive score, expertly crafted in part by the Grateful Dead's esteemed drummers Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann.

Under a sky lit by a "Buck" Supermoon and the shimmer of dancing drones, Dead and Company wrapped up their final tour performance at Folsom Field in Boulder. A beloved stop on their summer tours since 2016, Boulder, a Deadhead haven for almost six decades, witnessed an unforgettable show.

A day and a night, full of unforgettable moments and classic tunes, came to life at the hallowed ground of Folsom Field. On July 1st, 2023, Dead and Company unfurled their cosmic tapestry for the first of three nights in a location steeped in a deep and abiding love for the Grateful Dead. This trio of shows not only marks the band's last performances at the venue but is also the final whistle-stop on their grand farewell tour.
