On September 27, 2008, Orchestra Nashville and Trey Anastasio will give Time Turns Elastic its debut performance at the orchestra's 2008-2009 season opener at Nashville's famed Ryman Auditorium.

From their quirky and overly energetic days in the early 90s to the deep-rhythm grooves and improvisational mastery of the late 90s, the band was always exploring new avenues to show off their craft. Those differences are apparent in the two new releases from the Live Phish series, which showcase two amazing concerts in their entirety and reflect two important time capsules from their history.
Festival season! I love it, and it is almost upon us. After viewing the initial lineups for some of the big music festivals I couldn't help but notice the large number of indie rock bands that are sneaking their way into what are usually very jam-heavy celebrations.
