SIERRA HULL, the 2x GRAMMY-nominated and 6x International Bluegrass Music Association Award-winning artist, has announced her roots-laced rendition of “Black Muddy River” — which has been a recurring gem in her live set for years — will be released on Friday, September 27.

Borderland Festival 2024 wrapped up its most successful year yet, drawing thousands to Knox Farm State Park in East Aurora, NY, for a vibrant three-day celebration of music, art, and sustainability. The sixth annual event, held just outside downtown Buffalo, featured a stellar lineup of headliners, including The Black Crowes, Caamp, and Marcus King, with notable performances by Dark Star Orchestra, Cory Wong, The Wood Brothers, Houndmouth, and more.

It might come as no surprise to her legion of fans that SIERRA HULL, the 2x GRAMMY-nominated and 6x International Bluegrass Music Association Award-winning artist, has released an inspired and introspective rendition of “Mad World,” originally from the new wave group Tears for Fears.

The first week of the New Orleans Jazz Festival wrapped up on Sunday, and it was a spectacular day! Initially, there were concerns about rain, but the weather turned out perfect with clear skies and a refreshing breeze. The crowds were smaller than Saturday's, making it easier to navigate the festival grounds and access food quickly.

International Bluegrass phenom Sierra Hull brought her Tip Toe High Wire tour to St. Louis last night to the historic midwest music venue The Sheldon Concert Hall. She brought up a familiar St. Louis-based musician, her friend Devon Allman (son of Gregg Allman), and his guitarist Jackson Stokes for a spooky rendition of The Allman Brothers Band's "End of the Line." The trio brought the house down trading licks and utilizing the natural dynamics of the room.
