An extraordinary treat for Bay Area music lovers is coming to the Great American Music Hall on Sunday June 21^st, 2015.

With red-clown noses in their hearts, and songs to fill the air, a few thousand caring, music-loving souls gathered to wish Wavy Gravy, America’s favorite psychedelic relic, a happy 79^th birthday on May 17.

Steve Kimock will host a special tribute show to Jerry Garcia in several Northeast cities featuring an all star cast of musicians from the Grateful Dead universe including Zero bassist Bobby Vega, Jerry Garcia’s drummer Bill Vitt, Furthur/RatDog keyboardist Jeff Chimenti, Dan Lebowitz of ALO on guitar, and Kimock’s own son on drums, John Morgan Kimock.

In a repeat of last year’s memorable run, Kimock will bring an outstanding band of friends into Mill Valley’s Sweetwater Music Hall this coming December for three nights – Friday the 5th, Saturday the 6th, and Sunday the 7th – playing from the roots and R & B wing of Jerry Garcia’s repertoire.

The 2^nd annual ARISE Music Festival was full of magic, wonder, music, acrobats, dancers, poets, and artists of all kinds just as it was last year during its debut. After reviewing the pre-party in Boulder and attending the open house on site, I knew that the creators and help of this amazing festival would come together once again to produce a loving, creative, and musical environment, which would provide endless delight for everyone involved.
