Steve Kimock

Steve Kimock will host a special tribute show to Jerry Garcia in several Northeast cities featuring an all star cast of musicians from the Grateful Dead universe including Zero bassist Bobby Vega, Jerry Garcia’s drummer Bill Vitt, Furthur/RatDog keyboardist Jeff Chimenti, Dan Lebowitz of ALO on guitar, and Kimock’s own son on drums, John Morgan Kimock.

In a repeat of last year’s memorable run, Kimock will bring an outstanding band of friends into Mill Valley’s Sweetwater Music Hall this coming December for three nights – Friday the 5th, Saturday the 6th, and Sunday the 7th – playing from the roots and R & B wing of Jerry Garcia’s repertoire.

The 2nd annual ARISE Music Festival was full of magic, wonder, music, acrobats, dancers, poets, and artists of all kinds just as it was last year during its debut. After reviewing the pre-party in Boulder and attending the open house on site, I knew that the creators and help of this amazing festival would come together once again to produce a loving, creative, and musical environment, which would provide endless delight for everyone involved.

Bob Weir & Ratdog will tour in 2014, and Kimock is on the bus! The line-up is: Bob Weir, Jeff Chimenti, Jay Lane, Steve Kimock, Rob Wasserman and Robin Sylvester. For tickets and info visit www.rat-dog.com/

The only thing frightening about this Halloween would be missing The String Cheese Incident’s epic Suwanee Hulaween festival Thursday, October 31st-Saturday Nov. 2nd.  These are the last SCI shows until New Years 2013!

Suwannee Hulaween has announced five Ultimate Incident VIP options for fans to maximize their Halloween weekend celebration with The String Cheese Incident, STS9, Big Gigantic, Emancipator, Conspirator, Steve Kimock & Friends, Brock Butler, Future Rock and more, October 31 – November 2, 2013 at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL.

Silver Wrapper and Purple Hat Productions are thrilled to announce several artist additions to Suwannee Hulaween, hosted by The String Cheese Incident over Halloween weekend October 31 – November 1, 2013 at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL.

Nobody in the current concert and touring scene has done more to up the ante for music festivals and “happenings” than the String Cheese Incident. This should come as no surprise to some.  In addition to pioneering their own unique sound and instrumentation, the band has evolved with its fans over the years. They started their own record and ticketing companies to keep their CD releases and events reasonably priced and under their control.

Steve Kimock will join Bob Weir & RatDog at The Peach Music Festival from August 16-18 in Scranton, PA.

The Hot Tuna musical trip carries the audience along on a fantastic journey. With both quality and craftsmanship, Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady create a propelling sound, cruising through new songs, old songs, traditional songs and instrumentals.
