Terrapin Crossroads

This is it, friends — two and a half years in the making (about 5 if you count when I started trying to put together crowdfunding videos). I am thrilled, nervous, excited, overwhelmed, eager, and a whole lot of other words in anticipation of this big event that doesn't feel unlike planning a wedding.

Midnight North on February 10 delivered a powerful and endearing three-hour show, dubbed “Experience CSN&Y,” that included a long and powerful set of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young material. Phil Lesh and Eric Krasno guested on big chunks of the proceedings, which took place at Phil’s venerable Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, California.

It is nearly a month out from their San Rafael, CA play and Spafford have sold-out their single night at Terrapin Crossroads. Due to the overwhelming demand, the band now adds a second night at Phil Lesh's famed venue. Spafford will now play a 2-night run over Saturday, March 3rd (sold out) and Sunday, March 4th, 2018, dates along their "For Amusement Only" tour, going on now.

Just a couple of weeks into 2018, Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, California, hosted its first House Party of the year with legendary proprietor Phil Lesh and his Terrapin Family Band performing three sets, each with its own guest guitarist, in the intimate bar/restaurant.

Greetings, Sweet Friends. I hope your year is off to a great start. Getting my record released is first and foremost on my mind these days. In anticipation of the big release event to be announced soon, I've managed to assemble a true dream team of musicians to play my songs. We'll be testing out the waters next Saturday, January 20th, at Terrapin Crossroads in the bar and I can't tell you how honored I am to have this lineup a seasoned all-stars perform my original music.

In their forth outstanding gig at San Rafael’s Terrapin Crossroads this year, The Rock Collection brought an evening of originals, and beloved covers dissimilar to anything fans had seen of them yet. Any act under the jam band umbrella has to keep their shows diverse night to night, but what makes The Rock Collection standalone is the sheer combination of talent and background that allows the music to take off different directions on any given night.

Just a few short weeks after the Chris Robinson Brotherhood's annual December three-night stand at The Fillmore in San Francisco, they'll set up shop once again in the Bay Area to ring in the New Year with three-nights, December 29, 30 and 31, at Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael. Tickets go on-sale Monday, December 18, 10am PT at https://store.terrapincrossroads.net/tickets.

The Rock Collection is an all-star songwriting and performing collaboration with an amazing chemistry onstage. Melvin Seals (Jerry Garcia Band/JGB), Greg Anton (Zero), Stu Allen (Phil Lesh & Friends), Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz (ALO), and John-Paul McLean (JGB). They’re among the  most accomplished instrumentalists, singers and songwriters on the jamband circuit.

Terrapin Crossroads welcomes M. Ward with open arms to the Grate Room on October 29th. Our thoughts are with our friends at Gundlach Bundschu as they work tirelessly to open their winery doors to the public, after what has already been an emotional and exhausting couple of weeks fighting the fires back.

It’s hard to believe that two years have passed since the gargantuan Grateful Dead: Fare Thee Well five-show run in Santa Clara, California, and Chicago, Illinois. The surviving core four members of Grateful Dead were joined by Bruce Hornsby, Trey Anastasio and Jeff Chimenti for stadium shows that gathered tens of millions in profit and more importantly enduring memories for fans and the band.
