Twiddle
Two of the most buzzed about bands on the scene, Kung Fu and Twiddle, are joining forces for a twelve night co-headlining run kicking off April 1 in Buffalo, NY. The bands will take turns closing each night but to keep things interesting, it will not be announced in advance. Fans will have to arrive early to find out who takes the stage first.
Twiddle has announced their 2015 Winter Tour, affectionately dubbed "¿Donde Esta Norb?" with nine dates in the mid-west and 10 dates in Colorado.
With sage songwriting and unmatched variety, Twiddle packed prominent theaters up and down the East Coast on their Fall tour, and performed in front of huge audiences at festivals such as Gathering of the Vibes, Summer Camp, Wakarusa, Hudson Project and Catskill Chill, this past summer.
Memorial Day weekend always produces a number of different and distinct music festivals across the country, however one Midwest festival in particular has proved for countless years that they know how to throw a unique concert experience complete with a diverse music selection, an enthusiastic and experienced crowd, and a little help from the weather gods. When the sun peeks over the hillside, and you hear music wafting through the air coupled with the lilt of a family of birds you’ll know you’re in the right place. There will likely be a few groups of people stumbling by, chatting and laughing. Your tent will become a sauna as the sunshine fills the clear sky. You’ll crack open your first beer of the day, sip your breakfast wine or wander along the few paved paths to find some food. Golf carts will whizz by as you stop to take in the scenery, suck in a deep, clear breath and get ready for the days ahead.

The first ever ARISE Music Festival is scheduled to take place this summer August 14 -18, 2013, in a picturesque mountain setting near Loveland, Colorado at Sunrise Ranch. After listening to my friends rave about Twiddle shows they’ve seen all over the country, whether it was a Phish after party or just a small show at a bar, I decided to drive down to Fort Collins from my home in Boulder, catch the $5 show and see what all the buzz was about. Hodi’s Half Note is a small bar venue in the middle of one of the main streets in Fort Collins.

This year, after hearing some friends preach Twiddle to me every opportunity they got, I caught the first chance to see them without having to go to SnowBall Music Festival.
