Sheryl Crow gets it – the beach life, that is. “All I wanna do is have some fun, until the sun comes up over Santa Monica Boulevard,” Crow sang on Sunday during a twilight set on the sand at Redondo Beach, just 15 miles south of the oceanfront Santa Monica Pier. One of the BeachLife Festival’s high-profile performers who first made waves toward prominence in the late ‘80s/early ‘90s, Crow shared top billing with Smashing Pumpkins, Weezer, Stone Temple Pilots, 311, and the Steve Miller Band (who’s first hit was in 1968).
An eclectic beach-focused lineup of more than 55 top music artists across the spectrum of rock, indie, jam, reggae, and more has been announced for the 3rd edition of BeachLife Festival, Los Angeles County’s only coastal three-day immersive experience uniquely celebrating beach culture. Held May 13-15, 2022, Southern California’s premier live music, art, and culinary experience takes place on the picturesque waterfront in Redondo Beach, CA.

When ALO walked off stage at San Francisco’s historic Warfield Theatre on March 7th, 2020, little did they know that it would be one of the last shows together on stage for nearly a year. The soothing sounds of Zach Gill can be summed up in one word: Earworm. His new album Cocktail Yoga will paint a picture of 2020 inwardly, instrumentally, and with more than just the muted colors of an impressionist painting.
