After delivering an awe-inspiring performance at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY last weekend, and fresh off the heels of yesterday’s melodic release “Evolve,” only their second studio single in nearly ten years, all while celebrating the birthday of beloved bassist and leader Marc Brownstein, the Disco Biscuits descended into Denver with a charismatic and all-encompassing night one at the Mile High’s state-of-the-art Miss

The Disco Biscuits descended into the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY for night two of their rescheduled three night run from March 2020 last Friday, and unfurled a set list of fan favorites, covers and rarities to celebrate guitarist Jon "The Barber" Gutwillig's birthday. Their characteristic blend of jamtronica music was fueled by Gutwillig's guitar driven jamming this evening, and included a first time played Dead cover.

Aron Magner from the Disco Biscuits is set to make his solo debut on Thursday, April 7th at Denver ‘s premiere music venue Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox. He will perform a live synth set of classic Biscuit songs and exploratory improvisation on a grand piano. Joining Magner is @djwmusic (Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe / Shots Fired) who will be opening the show on solo guitar.  Tickets are available here.

On December 30th, The Brooklyn Jam Syndicate and Magic Sky Present a Phish After Party at Bowery Electric featuring Jam of Thrones. Composed of members of New York jamband staples Escaper, Space Bacon, and Dead Wrong, Jam of Thrones honors the music of the Grateful Dead, Phish, and the Disco Biscuits.

The Disco Biscuits are celebrating twenty years since their first gig at the Mishawaka. They played their debut show on July 5th, 2001 and then again in 2002 and 2003 with two shows each year. The most recent show from the joy spreaders of improvisational jam was on September 18th, 2010, they were billed as Tractorbeam for that gig. The band, venue and fans are very excited about this 2021 three-night run at the magnificent Mishawaka.

After a packed and busy summer, Northlands will be wrapping up its second season with Lee Brice (joined by brother Lewis Brice) on Sunday, August 29 at 6:30pm. The Disco Biscuits will be performing for back-to-back nights next weekend on Friday, August 20 and Saturday, August 21st, both nights at 6:00pm.
