Boca Raton hosted the Sunshine Music and Blues Festival on Saturday, Jan. 18, pulling people of all different ages together to enjoy a beautiful Saturday filled with sunshine and soul. In the middle of a shopping plaza filled with vacationers, retirees and homegrown Floridians lies Mizner Park Amphitheater, a small venue perfect for a casual winter day with some beautiful souls.

We’re about an hour away from kicking off the music here on the second day of the tenth annual Wakarusa Music Festival at Mulberry Mountain in Ozark, Ark.After a rough first day of shows getting rained out and mud EVERYWHERE, I have high hopes that things will start to dry out at least by the time we leave Monday. Catskill Chill Music Festival has announced the lineup for the fourth annual Chill at Camp Minglewood in Hancock, New York. Taking place September 6th – 8th, the 2013 event will offer more music than ever before with 60 acts performing live on five stages during the 3-day camping festival. Featured artists include: The Meter Men featuring Zigaboo Modeliste, Leo Nocentelli and George Porter, Jr.

The Bear Creek music festival at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park was a fun filled sensual delight from the tingling chill of a Friday night freeze, the warmth of the campfire, fuzzy bear costumes all around, campfire smoke whimsically dancing through the air, laser light spectacles such as green naked lady outlines surfing through the trees, and did I mention the music? Destination Funkytown. Houston, we have landed. Bear Creek kept us movn and groonvn all night long.
