THE INFAMOUS STRINGDUSTERS-Grammy Award-winners in 2018 for "Best Bluegrass Album"-have announced a four-show run in Colorado to help ring in 2019. Set for December 28 and 29 in Frisco, CO and December 30 and 31 in Denver, the concerts will help wind up what has been an epic year for the band.
Fresh off the release of their Shapeshifter 1: Construct EP and riding a train hell-bent on metamorphosis, New York’s mesmerizing instrumental quartet TAUK took over Denver’s Ogden Theatre this past weekend, showcasing their unique ability to blend elements of jazz, rock, and funk to captivate the minds of audiences across the country.
In one of their biggest headlining shows to date, Baltimore-based funk phenomenon Pigeons Playing Ping Pong took over Denver for an incredible night of music at the Ogden Theater, showcasing their signature styles and earning plenty of new fans along the way.
On Thursday, October 12th, the Campfire Caravan rolled into the Ogden Theatre, in Denver, Colorado and kicked up the energy in what was truly a full-on collaboration. Stop number fourteen, on a thirty plus city tour, the Campfire Caravan is a fifteen-musician crew featuring Mipso, The Brothers Comatose, and The Lil' Smokies.

In the midst of their massive fall tour Dopapod and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong have announced a 2 night Colorado run in January. The bands' will share the stage at Denver's Ogden Theatre on January 27th and Boulder's Boulder Theater on January 28th. Both shows will feature full sets from both Pigeons and Dopapod, with a different band closing each night.
It is one of the most anticipated musical runs in Colorado. It has kicked off the summer concert series in the state with the hottest music scene for the last several years. It is Bisco Inferno, and once again the Disco Biscuits brought their loyal fans, friends, and family to the Ogden Theater and Red Rocks Amphitheatre, the most beautiful venue in America, to celebrate music and summer.
Was it the reunion of brimming fans? Or was it the band’s majestic sound? Regardless, Elephant Revival’s two homecoming shows at the Ogden this past weekend produced nothing short of sweeping communal joy. Sights, sounds, and vibes provided respite from wintry woes all too common this time of year.
SunSquabi has announced that they will be throwing their “Odyssey EP release party” at the Ogden Theatre in early 2016 alongside Co-headliner Late Night Radio. SunSquabi recently signed with GRiZ’s All Good Records joining GRiZ, The Floozies, Manic Focus, The Geek x VRV, and Muzzy Bearr on the artist roster. The electronic trio had a busy summer with festivals and a debut performance at Red Rocks in September. The album will be the bands biggest outreach to date.

Never have I felt more back at home in the cow town, country music-listening, tobacco-chewing, horse-riding, bar-fighting town I grew up in than at the Sturgill Simpson concert at the Ogden Theater in Denver last Friday night. It causes me to wonder: why have country music and psychedelic drug use not met before the visionary Strugill Simpson?
