The 2nd annual Annapolis Baygrass Music Festival takes place Saturday & Sunday, September 21-22 on the gorgeous eastern beach at Sandy Point State Park along Chesapeake Bay in Annapolis, MD. Highlighting the finest in regional and national bluegrass, jamgrass, funkgrass, and Americana music, this conservation and community-focused musical event was listed as a “Don’t-Miss Bay Music Festival'' by Chesapeake Bay Magazine.

Today the promoters of the Hoxeyville Music Festival announce the lineup for their 22nd produced event, happening August 9 to 11 within the Manistee National Forest in Wellson, MI.

The String Cheese Incident’s year-long 30th anniversary celebration continues. The band will make their annual pilgrimage to Red Rocks Amphitheater this coming July for three nights of music, including a special show on Sunday, July 14, featuring Bluegrass greats Sam Bush, Jerry Douglas, and Sierra Hull.

These three special nights at Red Rocks will be the band’s only Colorado appearances in 2024.

The Boulder Theater is thrilled to announce an extraordinary evening with the legendary Sam Bush, the pioneer of the newgrass genre, on Friday, May 3, 2024. Doors will open at 7:00 PM, with the show starting at 8:00 PM. This event promises to be a landmark in the musical calendar of 2024, celebrating the legacy and ongoing innovation of a true music icon.

Congratulations to Smithsonian Folkways Recordings on their four GRAMMY nominations this year - the iconic label's 75th.

The four nominations join 30 previous Folkways nominations, and 9 wins to date. The Folkways catalog also contains 11 lifetime achievement award recipients.

Music Worcester brings Sam Bush, known as “The King of Newgrass” and his revolutionary take on bluegrass to Worcester’s Hanover Theatre on June 9. The mandolin/fiddle/guitar-playing icon has taken the genre to new heights over a 50+ year career as a founding member of The New Grass Revival, and working with such legends as Leon Russell, Emmylou Harris,  Lyle Lovett, and Béla Fleck & The Flecktones.

Grammy-nominated acoustic guitarist extraordinaire, composer and global touring artist TOMMY EMMANUEL has today (April 6) released the video for his musically virtuosic and exhilarating cover of the 1988 Little Feat classic “Cajun Girl,” featuring Little Feat and Sam Bush.

The Caverns is proud to present the second annual CaveFest, featuring a curated line-up of music over three days. Headliners include Sam Bush, Leftover Salmon, The Infamous Stringdusters, Peter Rowan, and The Travelin’ McCourys, plus artists-in-residence Lindsay Lou, on-site camping, open underground jam sessions, cave tours, delicious food trucks, local vendors, and more.
