Slightly Stoopid and Cloud 9 Adventures have announced the highly anticipated return of Closer to the Sun, their annual concert vacation. From December 8-12, 2021, the event takes over Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya, an all-inclusive resort on the coast of Mexico.

Slightly Stoopid drummer Rymo (Ryan Moran) has released his new solo album Kinetic out now on all digital platforms here via Controlled Substance Sound Labs. Featured guests include progressive rock legend Tony Levin (Peter Gabriel, Yes, Pink Floyd, King Crimson), YouTube guitar sensation Marty Schwartz, Tom Griesgraber, Paul Wolstencroft (Slightly Stoopid), and film composer Farzam Salami.

After dropping his Easy Star Records debut album Sharp & Ready to critical acclaim, Double Tiger (Jay Spaker) is back with The Journey, which is his most diverse and personal collection to date. The album is due on December 11th and features an all-star lineup of artists including Slightly Stoopid, The Movement, Ranking Joe, Elliot Martin (John Brown’s Body), Suckarie (New Kingston), and Karim Israel (Arise Roots).

Slightly Stoopid, one of southern California’s favorite Reggae infused party bands, brought a marathon jam to the Ventura Fairgrounds, Friday, October 9. The show was part of the Concerts in Your Car series, which brought a full season of shows to the outdoor venue. In addition to Slightly Stoopid, other highlights over the summer included Cypress Hill, Sublime, Snoop Dog, Tower of Power, Los Lobos, and Fitz and The Tantrums.

Today, Billboard chart-toppers Slightly Stoopid unveil the first round of dates for their annual summer tour. Dubbed Summer Traditions 2020 (a nod to the outdoor summer tour-circuit the band has done annually since 2006), Slightly Stoopid and fans alike will travel the states, sharing good times with one another through music and community as they have done since the band’s inception 25 years ago.

Slightly Stoopid to perform double header at Red Rocks - Aug 15 + 16 -- supporting acts announced today!

AEG Presents is thrilled to announce SLIGHTLY STOOPID's TWO night run at Red Rocks Amphitheatre Saturday, August 15 & Sunday, August 16, 2020. The Ocean Beach, CA ensemble will be performing a unique set each night. Saturday night the band will play a Slightly Stoopid & Friends electric set with special guests on August 15th. Then on Sunday, August 16th, they will do their Acoustic Roots set at sunset - a rare acoustic performance the band has only played in the US one other time. Doors August 15 open at 5:30pm, show 6:00pm. Doors August 16 open at 3:30pm, show at 4:00pm.
