The String Cheese Incident's 2007 Summer Tour stops in towns that hold plenty of SCI history, and features some of the band's favorite kinds of shows - namely weekend camping events with plenty of musical friends in tow.

The 10,000 Lakes Festival (10KLF) announces the addition of The String Cheese Incident to the lineup, confirming a Minnesota performance on their summer tour. The Colorado-based group has spent more than a decade making innovative, genre-defying music and will perform two sets at the 10,000 Lakes Festival Friday, July 20 on the Main Stage.

"The String Cheese Incident is thrilled to be returning to 10KLF for the third time and are looking forward to performing in the North Woods once again," says SCI manager Mike Luba.

SCI has confirmed two new "Incidents" along their sold out New York City and Colorado runs; Wednesday, July 11 th at the Beacon Theatre and Thursday, August 9 th at Red Rocks have been added to their Summer Tour schedule. Today, independent music pioneers The String Cheese Incident announce their 2007 Summer Tour – which also marks the beginning of an end for the band and their community.  In the fall of 2006, The String Cheese Incident announced it would make no plans beyond summer 2007, as SCI guitarist Billy Nershi would be leaving the group to explore a different musical path.

Here in Colorado, the snow has been falling, falling… and falling.  To celebrate the winter white, The String Cheese Incident announces their annual Winter Carnival run of shows, this year confirmed for March 22nd, 23rd, and 24th at Denver's Fillmore Auditorium, and March 26th and 27th at Dobson Ice Arena in Vail.

After the disclosure that String Cheese Incident founding member and guitarist Billy Nershi would be leaving the band this year, many fans were left to wonder what might become of the remaining band members.  Could they tour without Billy, or would this truly be the end of the Cheese?
