Virginia rock band Kendall Street Company announce the release of a cover of The Beatles’ 1968 tune “Rocky Raccoon.” The new single is a modern take on a classic, and the band’s first ever release of a cover song. A longtime live staple in KSC’s catalog, the reimagined take features subtle lyric changes and revamped instrumentation including a raucous saxophone solo. To complement the studio track, Kendall Street Company will be releasing a live version of the song, as well as a whole LP’s worth of live material, in partnership with Relix this Spring.
