Psychedelic funk quartet Pigeons Playing Ping Pong is set to make a triumphant return to Pittsburgh, PA  as they close out the year with a highly anticipated New Year's Eve run. The Maryland-based groove maestros will take the stage on December 30th at Mr. Smalls Theatre and December 31st at Stage AE, promising to ring in 2025 with two nights of vibrant, high-energy shows. In the coming weeks, a very special guest will be announced for the night of 12/31.

This thrilling announcement coincides with the momentum from their seventh studio album, Day In Time, released in April. The album showcases the band's creative maturation and collective alchemy, featuring a lively mix of new tunes and guest appearances by notable artists such as Ben "Smiley" Silverstein (The Main Squeeze), Alric "A.C." Carter (Tauk), and Joey Porter (The Motet). "Day In Time" has captivated audiences nationwide throughout 2024, a hallmark of PPPP's reputation for electrifying live performances.

PPPP is currently at the tail end of a jam-packed summer that featured appearances at major festivals and acclaimed venues nationwide. This weekend, the band closes out “Pigeons Frasco Dogs Tour” with a pair of shows at Roseland, VA’s Devil’s Backbone Brewery (Friday) and Charlotte, NC’s The Fillmore (Saturday). Following festival appearances at Las Vegas NV’s Bender Jamboree and Ocean City, MD’s Oceans Calling, Pigeons will embark on an October/November fall tour.

Ticket sales for the very special NYE performances commence with a VIP and Seated Presale running Wednesday, September 4th at 10 AM ET through Thursday, September 5th at 10 PM ET using the password FLOCK.
