Today, dynamic Baltimore funk quartet Pigeons Playing Ping Pong unveiled their latest single, "Feelin' Fine." The track, a vibrant and energetic offering, is the newest taste of the band's eagerly awaited studio album, Day In Time, arriving on April 26th (No Coincidence Records).
"Feelin' Fine" is a testament to the band's unique ability to radiate positivity through optimistic lyricism and unified melodic mastery. The track is driven by clean, infectious guitar riffs atop a toe-tapping rhythm section, effortlessly converging at an atmospheric and powerful chorus.
Lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist "Scrambled Greg" Ormont shares the band’s intentions behind the track: "More than anything, we hope this song is as uplifting for others as it is for us. There were many inspirations for “Feelin’ Fine,” but now that it’s out there, it’s really up to the listener to decide what it means. That’s the beauty of music, it can be anything you want it to be. No matter your interpretation, we hope this song brings a smile to your face."
Ormont further elaborates on the creative process, "I sent a rough demo to the band and they took it and ran with it. It’s so fun watching a seedling of an idea turn into a team project and ultimately a crowd sing-along. When we play our songs live, we always remember each one’s journey, and when we see them resonate with others, it makes that experience all the sweeter.”
The anticipation for Day In Time has been building steadily in 2024, and the release of "Feelin' Fine" follows previously debuted singles “Day In Time” and “Alright Tonight.”

The single arrives on the heels of a successful fifteen-show run that saw the band sell out Port Chester, NY’s historic Capitol Theatre and Atlanta’s Variety Playhouse, among others. The band returns to the road May 3rd and 4th at Harrisburg, PA’s XL Live before departing on “Pigeons Frasco Dogs Tour” alongside buzzing acts Andy Frasco and The U.N. and Dogs in a Pile in late May.
