Disco Biscuits

Last Friday night, Matt Butler brought his Everyone Orchestra to Terrapin Crossroads. The band, whose exact makeup typically changes (with the exception of Butler) from location to location, consisted of Michael Kang (String Cheese Incident), Jason Hann (String Cheese Incident), Aron Magner (The Disco Biscuits), Ross James (Terrapin Family Band), Robin Sylvester (RatDog), Sunshine Garcia Becker (Furthur), Zach Nugent (Melvin Seals & JGB), and Andrea Whitt (Zucchero Fornaciari). They also had played the night before with Dan Lebowitz (ALO) in Ross James’ spot. Most of the members had played in Everyone Orchestra at some point before, the exceptions being Nugent and Whitt.

The Philadelphia area’s newest formed funk and soul supergroup, Star Kitchen, will make their debut performance at the Ardmore Music Hall this Friday November 9.

The Disco Biscuits’ annual Colorado Bisco Inferno run is officially in the books, and what a weekend it was. Beginning with a three-night run at Denver’s Ogden Theatre, and capped by a massive performance Sunday night at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater, the Philadelphia quartet delivered top-notch jams, bust-outs, and covers that had even the most experienced Biscuits fans reeling for more.

Disc Jam is back and better than ever with our best musical lineup yet, expanded disc golf experience, flow arts performances, tons of visual artists, hand selected food and craft vendors and what makes Disc Jam so great —all of you.

J2G Live is proud to announce the return of its most popular show, Dance Party Time Machine, in 2018. Join us on Saturday, March 24th, at Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver, Colorado, as we take fans on a journey through the greatest dance party hits of all time. From rock ‘n’ roll’s roots to classic soul and R&B, to disco, funk, 80’s pop, 90’s hip-hop, and the club bangers of today, nothing is out of reach of the Dance Party Time Machine.

On Friday, December 15th at Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox, Tiger Party will celebrate the end of the year with a very special night of music, revelry, and the holiday spirit with some of the biggest names in the CO scene and beyond.  Joining the band will be guitarist Eddie Roberts from The New Mastersounds and drummer Allen Aucoin from The Disco Biscuits along with some other very special guests. Blake and Ashley will be making a list, checking it twice, and finding out who’s ready to hit the dance floor hard  for Tiger Party’s Holiday Extravaganza.

[Br]eaking [Bi]scuits brings together Adam Deitch and Borahm Lee, aka Break Science with two members of the Disco Biscuits - bassist Marc Brownstein and keyboardist Aron Magner.

Uniting elements of electronic dance music with more traditional forms of American rock, the Disco Biscuits have long established themselves as one of the most exciting - and influential - touring bands in the country. In the late 90s, the band pioneered a unique style of music, often referred to as "trance-fusion," that distinguished them from their peers, while heavily influencing an entire generation of younger "livetronica" acts.
