Calling All Crows has announced the second Unlocked Voices livestream fundraising event, next Thursday, October 8 at the ONCE Ballroom in Somerville, Massachusetts. The event is co-presented with Nine Athens Music, a company dedicated to helping musicians take the next step and to building the local music community.

Singer-songwriter and activist Chadwick Stokes will join a Facebook Watch Party and live Q&A with Boston public media producer WGBH on Thursday, June 24 at 7pm ET. Together with Chadwick, fans will be able to watch his 2019 performance in WGBH’s intimate Fraser Performance Studio and engage in the comments section.

Boston born indie-folk powerhouse Chadwick Stokes Urmston has made his impact on music over the last few decades. Known for fronting bands such as Dispatch and State Radio, his newest undertaking, touring with musical group “The Pintos” proves to have given his resume further depth and opens a new chapter in his life.

Today, Chadwick Stokes (Dispatch, State Radio) and his band The Pintos officially kick off their winter tour in Holyoke, MA. The band will be touring their recently released self-titled album making stops in major markets including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Nashville, Philly, and more. They will be joined by Mihali (of Twiddle) and Daniel Rodriguez (of Elephant Revival) for select shows.

Chadwick Stokes will release a self-titled record with his band The Pintos that tackles personal and political territory in ways that feel intimate and urgent. Set for release November 15, 2019 Worldwide via Thirty Tigers, Chadwick Stokes and The Pintos brings the complications of history into conversation with the turbulent yet—from Stokes’ perspective—hopeful present. “We’re living in a crazy time, a very upsetting time,” says Stokes.

Chadwick Stokes announced his 12th annual benefit concert in support of Calling All Crows at the House of Blues on Saturday, December 21st.  Performing with his band the Pintos, money raised at the concert will help channel the power of live music toward community change for women and girls. The three-day music festival starts on Friday, August 9th, with a screening of Jaws with a live orchestra. Music-fan tribes of all stripes gathered for the Independence Day weekend to luxuriate in the 29th annual High Sierra Music Festival in tiny Quincy, California, basking in the music, vibes, joy, and friendships old and new. Over the four-day celebration, among the beautiful clear-aired mountainous sky and mountains, fun oozed everywhere, from the scheduled and numerous unscheduled live performances and collaborations to the often luxurious and nicely appointed home bases set up in the campgrounds.

DISPATCH will be performing at Thompson’s Point on Saturday, July 20 with special guest Moon Taxi.  The Portland date is one of only a handful of summer stops for the band in 2019.  The upbeat rock band that’s heralded as one of the biggest independent bands in history, is in the middle of one of their most prolific periods to date. Dispatch released a live record called “Live 18” on May 17th which features 21 live recordings - almost all from last summer, including featured performances from tour mates Nahko And Medicine For The People, Raye Zaragoza and Tim Snider.

Rival Entertainment announced today the daily lineups for the 2019 Candler Park Music & Food Festival. Returning to Candler Park for the 11th year on Friday, May 31 and Saturday, June 1, one main stage will feature a stacked lineup of 10 artists, including Dispatch, Greensky Bluegrass, Dr. Dog, Trampled by Turtles, Stephen Marley, Larkin Poe, Funk You, Aqueous, Webster and Priscilla Block.
