Dogs In A Pile

Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Andy Frasco & The UN, and Dogs in a Pile, three of the most captivating live acts on the music scene today, will join forces this spring for "Pigeons Frasco Dogs Tour." The electrifying trio will visit the northeast and midwest for eight performances this spring.

Like a train going westward, Dogs In A Pile (DIAP) spent the first weekend of February hitting three cities they’ve played before – but for the very first time as headliners. Texas greeted them back with open arms and has shown the band is firmly extending its reach to the South.

In a year filled with a multitude of successes for Dogs In A Pile (DIAP), perhaps December 2023 will go down in band history as one of the most important stretches for the Asbury Park quintet. But we’ll get to that in a moment.

December is for holidays, and this year was no exception. The rising jam rock band Dogs In A Pile put on an outstanding, sold-out show at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ on December 16, 2023, that included a visit by Mr. Grinch, as well as some stellar covers. This performance was part of a two-night stand at the legendary Jersey Shore venue in honor of the December holidays. Percussionist Adrian Tramontano (Twiddle) sat in for the second set.

One year removed from a similar-type residency in Colorado, Dogs In A Pile (DIAP) will plant a month-long flag in “The Golden State”. Stretching across 15 dates and playing nine venues (including two shows in Arizona), the Dogs will set up camp out West in an area they’ve become awfully familiar with since the beginning of 2023.

Dogs In A Pile (DIAP) just announced their first batch of 2024 dates a few weeks ago and are fresh off a major tour in support of Pigeons Playing Ping Pong. As the band took a short break for the Thanksgiving holiday, Dogs guitarist/vocalist Brian Murray penciled in a date (11/25) to play a solo acoustic show at the famous NYC club The Bitter End. The stage has been graced by the likes of music titans Stevie Wonder, Bob Dylan, Chick Corea, David Crosby, Neil Young, and many more.

Asbury Park jam quintet Dogs In A Pile (DIAP) will start 2024 off in “The Lone Star State”. February 1 -3 will mark a trio of Texas firsts – with inaugural headlining stops in Houston at Last Concert Cafe, Austin at Antone’s and Dallas at Deep Ellum Art Co.

Dogs In A Pile (DIAP) is about to embark on a 16-date tour, supporting Pigeons Playing Ping Pong. This opportunity to open for them will be highlighted by a start in New Orleans at the famed Tipitina’s, a performance at the beautiful Mission Ballroom in Denver, and a show at the Troubadour in Hollywood—amongst a slew of first-time played venues in what many would consider key cities for any young band on the rise.

In a glorious Philadelphia evening, Dogs In A Pile (DIAP) set the Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia stage ablaze with their musical fireworks as the Phillies triumphed and created their own display of on-field pyrotechnics. This was a night when the stars aligned, and the intersection of music and sports created an unforgettable experience for the “Dog Pound” faithful. The group of loyal and infectiously energetic fans showed up in force – packing out the venue to a tune of nearly 900 attendees.

Dogs In A Pile (DIAP) are coming to the City of Brotherly Love for an unforgettable night at the Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia on October 21. The follow up to the previous night’s show at The Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, New York is not just “any” gig for the band – it's their biggest headlining show to date in their own backyard!
