March 6, 2022 will mark 30 years since the Fox Theatre in Boulder, Colorado welcomed its first audience. Since then, the mid-sized independent music venue located on University Hill  has been voted one of the nation’s best venues by Rolling Stone and has been instrumental in the success of numerous musical acts. On a date not yet announced, the Fox Theatre will join some of those artists (The String Cheese Incident, Leftover Salmon, Yonder Mountain String Band, and Hot Rize) as inductees to the Colorado Music Hall of Fame.

Trombone Shorty’s Voodoo Threauxdown is a curated mini-festival, a history of New Orleans music and a vision of where that music is headed in the 21st century. “I want to share the music and the vibe of my city,” Trombone Shorty says.

The fifth annual Allman Family Revival Presented by Gibson has added a 19th date to the previously announced tour and will ring in the New Year in Macon, Georgia at the Macon City Auditorium. Internationally renowned CA music venue Sweetwater Music Hall is set to reopen their doors after COVID shut them in 2020. The reopening also signals the relaunch of the iconic venue featuring the new restaurant, The Rock & Rye and improvements to seating, sound and other aspects as well as an updated website in Summer 2021 after being closed for over a year.

Today, New Orleans funk icon George Porter Jr. and his band the Runnin' Pardners release Crying For Hope via Controlled Substance Sounds Labs and Color Red. Recorded remotely during quarantine, the 12-track album marks the funk-rock group's first full-length studio release in a decade and boasts a mix of unreleased Pardners tunes and new cuts inspired by the social justice movement.
