Every Labor Day weekend since 2011, the beautiful grounds of Camp Shaw-waw-nas-see near Manteno, IL have played host to Shoe Fest. I find myself camped this year with two of my favorite fire spinners and band members from Broken Robots. Yes, everybody can get close at Shoe Fest and you never know whom you might meet. This is an eclectic music festival with something for everyone, and some things unexpected.

Prepare for a Halloween spectacle like no other as Boston's own rock juggernaut, Neighbor, just announced an epic three-night Halloween run in New England. Joined by powerhouse trio LaMP, this unforgettable series of shows will kick off on Thursday, October 31st, in Burlington, VT at the renowned Higher Ground. The energy ramps up on Friday, November 1st, when the bands hit one of New England's favorite venues, The State Theatre in downtown Portland, ME.

Shoe Fest is thrilled to announce the lineup for its 13th annual celebration, taking place over Labor Day weekend (August 30 – September 1, 2024) at the picturesque Camp Shaw-Waw-Nas-See in Manteno, IL. This year’s festival will feature multiple-time Grammy winner Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, as well as newcomers Ghost-Note and Neighbor. The event will also see the return of long-time favorites Cornmeal, featuring Allie Kral for the first time in 12 years, and the Kyle Hollingsworth Band from The String Cheese Incident.

This year, the Dead of Summer Music Festival, alongside Pink Talking Fish, is excited to announce a lineup of special guests for their performance of "Terrapin Station" among other pieces at this year's festival. Wow! What a long, strange trip it’s been. Here I am at the beginning of a beautiful New England fall, basking in the glowing memories of the best end-of-summer musical celebration Martha’s Vineyard has to offer: Beach Road Weekend Music Festival (BRW). The whole experience reminds me of how lucky we are to have these opportunities to witness such historical once-in-a-lifetime music in the making.

The Boston, Mass-based jam rock quartet Neighbor killed the festival circuit this summer and was due for a two-set heater as their summer tour waned. As a result, a raging inferno of covers, new tunes, and old classics unfurled at the Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, NY on September 8, 2023.
