Celebrating its 30th year in 2022, High Sierra Music Festival is continuing to add to its milestone-year party, returning to Quincy, CA, June 30th through July 3rd. Today’s lineup appeals to as broad a range of fans as ever before, all the while keeping true to High Sierra’s legacy; an environment that has kept fans and musicians thrilled to return year after year, for three decades.

Yesterday witnessed the first day of the first ever North Beach Music Festival, taking place at North Beach Bandshell in Miami, Florida. The day saw performances from some local acts like The Heavy Pets, and then later on saw headlining sets from the likes of The Motet, Karina Rykman, and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong.

Baltimore-based quartet Pigeons Playing Ping Pong plans to bring its unique blend of vivacious, high-octane funk to a city near you this winter. Starting in mid-January, PPPP will traverse the country, making eighteen stops at legendary theatres and ballrooms. Following a pair of shows at The Fillmore in Philadelphia (1/14-15), the funky foursome will flock to the midwest for a trio of shows in Grand Rapids, Cleveland, and Chicago (2/10-12).

With just one month to go, North Beach Music Festival has shared yet another special collaboration. Today, the North Beach Music Festival is pleased to announce that Jennifer Hartswick, Shira Elias & String Cheese Incident's Jason Hann will join The Motet for a special collaborative set. Some of the Nation's top jam, funk, and improv bands are headed to Miami for the North Beach Music Festival at the intimate seaside Bandshell Park on Friday and Saturday, December 10th and 11th.

Today, Baltimore’s favorite funky foursome, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, announced the release of a new studio single. Titled “Indiglo,” the sprightly track combines PPPP’s signature uplifting funk with masterful keyboard work from Zach Gill (ALO). Available now on all streaming platforms, the single is the band’s first studio release since the 2020 album Presto.

Today, acclaimed Baltimore funk quartet Pigeons Playing Ping Pong revealed the theme of its highly anticipated Halloween run. Called “Daft Side of the Moon,” the band will combine toe-tapping originals with songs spanning the entire catalog of the legendary rock group Pink Floyd, and the intergalactic electronic tunes of revered French DJ duo Daft Punk.

North Beach Music Festival, set to happen at Miami Beach's historic North Beach Bandshell this December, has shared daily lineups. Coinciding with its daily lineup announcement, the festival is also releasing a limited allotment of single-day tickets, on sale tomorrow, Wednesday, September 15 at 12:00 pm ET. Additionally, North Beach Music Festival is excited to announce that long-time Florida jam scene anchors, The Heavy Pets, have joined the lineup.

Last week, GMP Live announced a brand-new festival that will take over the North Beach Bandshell in Miami Beach, FL this December 10th and 11th, and today, they have revealed the all-star lineup.

Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Baltimore’s favorite funky foursome, plans to return to Asheville, NC for an extraterrestrial two-night New Year’s Eve run. Called “ARENA 54 NYE,” the holiday celebration will combine out-of-this-world alien elements of Area 51 with the discotheque pastiche of one of history’s most renowned nightclubs, Studio 54. The run begins on 12/30 at The Orange Peel, followed by a massive “intergalactic disco celebration” at ExploreAsheville.com Arena on 12/31.
