The WinterWonderGrass Festival had its first ever foray to the east in mid-December. It was a warm welcome to the beautiful Vermont Green Mountains at the Stratton Ski Resort. There’s a saying in New England, and it especially applies to Vermont this time of year. If you don’t like the weather, wait an hour. This adage proved true over all three days of the WinterWonderGrass Vermont festival. Opening day Friday started out mild, mid-40s a bit grey. Everything looked perfect for a fine festival kick-off.

GRAMMY-winning band THE INFAMOUS STRINGDUSTERS are announcing a new live album, Live From Telluride, out this Friday, November 16 on all digital retailers and platforms. The 20-track release features a wide-ranging set spanning the band's 12-year career with tracks from their eight previous studio albums, including 2017's Laws Of Gravity, which won a GRAMMY for "Best Bluegrass Album," and a few covers which THE STRINGDUSTERS have been known to incorporate into their live set.

The sad passing on October 12 of Andy Goessling, founding member of Railroad Earth, the ongoing host band for the Hangtown Music Festival (Oct. 25-28), was a unifying thread at this year’s fest, prompting outspoken love, respect, and admiration. In the end, the shared loss sparked a like-minded cause for life celebration and a shared process of moving forward amid a backdrop of fabulous music, Halloween costumes, and community.

Grammy-winning bluegrass quintet THE INFAMOUS STRINGDUSTERS have announced their first tour dates of 2019, with a West Coast run kicking off January 16 in Los Angeles. The group will wind their way up to the northwest and wrap January 27 in Bellingham, WA. Their friends in Midnight North are opening on select dates.

THE INFAMOUS STRINGDUSTERS-Grammy Award-winners in 2018 for "Best Bluegrass Album"-have announced a four-show run in Colorado to help ring in 2019. Set for December 28 and 29 in Frisco, CO and December 30 and 31 in Denver, the concerts will help wind up what has been an epic year for the band.

Continuing with their practice of performing more than 120 dates last year, THE INFAMOUS STRINGDUSTERS can't get enough of playing out on the road and are announcing a new string of Fall 2018 headlining tour dates. The GRAMMY-winning bluegrass mavericks will travel across the U.S., making stops in Atlanta, St. Louis, Milwaukee, Asheville, as well as a New York City show at The Gramercy Theatre on November 15. A list of current dates is below and more will be announced later.
