The high energy, Brooklyn based dance meets jam rock squad Escaper released their brand new album Spaceship to a full house at the Sultan Room in Brooklyn's Bushwick neighborhood on November 5, 2022. Led by guitarist Will Hanza, this group is a well known local gem amongst those in the NYC metro region.

As with most things in life, the end is usually bittersweet and ripe with emotion. This was certainly the case for the eighth and final collaborative performance by the Trey Anastasio Band and Goose. For Goose, this tour was a "pinch me" moment, enabling them to play along side legendary musicians that they have looked up to.

Last week, Victor Wooten, Steve Bailey and Derico Watson wrapped up their Bass Extremes Tour with a four night blow out in the Centennial State. Landing everywhere but the southwest and west coast in a 21-night-in-27-days run from October into November, the trio hit Fort Collins, Manitou Springs, Denver, and finally Boulder in consecutive performances to close it all out.

Whether it is put to good use within the members of our favorite bands or through the avenue of the surprise sit in, everyone in the audience loves a good gelling and these instances are usually what make up the fabled stories of our musical adventure. When one considers the collaborative effort through the lens of improvisational music, the end result has a giant question mark looming over it.

This past Tuesday, Dave Matthews Band returned to the United Center after just shy of a decade from the last time they played an arena show in Chicago. The weather not being the most ideal did not deter fans from their growing excitement of having the band performing that evening. Their sets grew wings and took flight with monster sit-ins by both bands.

A sold-out crowd filled the opulent Fred Kavli Theater in Thousand Oaks, California, on Saturday, November 5th, to witness the guitar wizardry of arguably the greatest living rock guitarist, Jeff Beck. It was the first post-pandemic tour for the iconic guitarist, who looks and sounds like a man decade younger than his 78 years. The musician has won six Grammy's for his masterful recordings and has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice.

On November 12th, 2022, GRAMMY-nominated electronic music producer and singer, ZHU, took stage for his 10th ever Red Rocks Amphitheatre performance here in Morrison, Colorado. This chilly evening in the mountains warmed up quickly with the help of two incredible special guests opening for ZHU.
