Animated attendees gathered for The 14th Annual Gem & Jam Festival (February 4-6, 2022) in the scenic desert landscape of Tucson, Arizona, to be taken away by the audio, escape in the visual, and indulge in a full-spectrum sensory experience—an experience encapsulating even the non-physical depths of community. This art and music festival— with over 250 programmed acts—once again, delivered  unforgettable entertainment, education, and natural beauty.

The 14th Annual Gem and Jam Festival in Tucson, Arizona is the epicenter of the world-renowned Tucson Gem, Mineral and Fossil Showcase, while also a staple in the jam and electronic music festival stratosphere. The scenic desert landscape fabricates a full-on bazaar-of-sorts, pushing past the boundaries of a typical music festival and perfectly coalescing the worlds of workshops, performers, visual artists and installations.

Florida’s preeminent reggae festival has just announced their full lineup for 2022! Reggae Rise Up Florida, entering its seventh year, is scheduled to make its triumphant return to Vinoy Park in Downtown St. Petersburg, FL, over the March 18-20 weekend. Produced by Live Nite Events, Reggae Rise Up Florida has evolved into a beloved staple of South Florida’s musical event calendar and is widely recognized as one of the most essential reggae festivals in the nation.

We’re on the ninth week of Pickathon’s A Concert A Day and we’re rolling right into June with a ton of momentum thanks to all the donations that have been pouring in for MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund! We’ve got a special lineup this week as well, with Americana eclecticists Rising Appalachia who just laid down a great Tiny Desk Concert at NPR.

"As with so many of our songs, the message of “Resilient” has taken on a new poignancy in this time of disruption, isolation, and uncertainty,” says David Brown, bassist and baritone guitar player for the global folk band Rising Appalachia, about the remixed version of “Resilient” that was released Friday. NPR Music praised the original track when it was released as an “uplifting, original folk anthem,” and this remix is no different.

Adored world-folk music group, Rising Appalachia, are pleased to invite viewers, both new fans and old, to their NPR Tiny Desk Concert which was filmed in November of last year while the band was routing through Washington D.C. for their sold out show at The Hamilton Theatre.
