The Oakland Athletics will be joining in on all the fun this summer celebrating Jerry on August 18! With the purchase of a special event ticket, folks will receive a t-shirt, exclusive access to a pre-game concert featuring Moonalice, and a ticket to the game. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Rex Foundation.

The Grateful Dead is back for the highly anticipated annual event “Meet-Up At The Movies” screening in select territories worldwide on June 22 and 24.  Presented by Trafalgar Releasing and Rhino Entertainment, this year’s event is the Dead’s first ever concert at Chicago’s Soldier Field on June 22, 1991, from the original six-camera stadium video feed with pristine soundboard audio.

In the spring of 1973, the Grateful Dead was universally praised for delivering a consistently spectacular series of performances. The band was dialed in for the season’s final five shows, including back-to-back nights at RFK Stadium, co-headlining with the Allman Brothers Band. Without a doubt, the June 10 finale belongs on the shortlist of must-hear Dead concerts.

As the Dead & Company prepare for their final Farewell Tour this summer, the bands legendary percussionist, Mickey Hart, will present his newest art collection, the Art of Mickey Hart during two of the groups tour stops. Hart is scheduled to appear at the Wentworth Gallery at Tysons Galleria in McLean VA on Sunday, June 4th at 2 pm and on Friday, June 23rd at 6:30 pm at the Wentworth Gallery at Short Hills Mall in Short Hill, NJ. These two exclusive art showings will be private and intimate for patrons.

After nearly two weeks of cold rainy, and foggy weather on the southern California coast, the sun came out just in time for the opening day of the 2023 Skull and Roses Music Festival on Surfers Point in Ventura. The shortened first day of music, which began at 5 pm, was a bonus day for the many fans of the Grateful Dead genre who filled the sold-out campgrounds earlier in the day.
