To reach a 20th anniversary is a major accomplishment for any band--and in 2017, STS9 will officially hit that milestone. To mark the occasion, the acclaimed and adventurous electronic rock band has announced their celebrations will kick off with a three-night stand at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO September 8-10 featuring a slew of support acts including some of the band's longtime friends.

Following their multiple-night takeovers in Los AngelesAustin and Chicago already this year, acclaimed and adventurous electronic rock band STS9 announced today (2/7) the dates for their spring "Get Loud Tour," named for the lead single off their latest full-length album, THE UNIVERSE INSIDE.

Sound Tribe Sector Nine has been a uniquely special force in the music world for many years now. Their evolution as musicians has been as otherworldly as the content of their music. Like any true long-lasting band, evolution is necessary for longevity. Innovation has been at its forefront for two decades. Their energy and creativity is what brings loyal fans back to see them time and time again. As we made another revolution around the sun, we are presented with a new year to celebrate change and growth.

The new dates come on the heels of STS9's kickoff to their headlining Fall Tour in support of THE UNIVERSE INSIDE, which began this past Thursday, October 20 in Minneapolis.

Music transcendency is often times the result of relentless patience, self-awareness and significant hours mastering technique. Crafting a product that reflects these characteristics can often times be a daunting task for artists, and for many musicians the perfect composition often times doesn’t translate in the studio. For Georgia-based jamtronica pioneers STS9 however, this enigma may have finally been mastered.

STS9 today (10/3) announced a three-night New Year's celebration run at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver for Thursday, December 29, Friday, December 30 and Saturday, December 31.

STS9 released their 6th studio album, The Universe Inside, on their homegrown label 1320 Mission Control on September 2, 2016, and it represents their first such release since Ad Explorata was released in 2009.  This would also be the first release for “STS9 2.0” with Alana Rocklin since her taking over the staggering bass responsibilities for STS9 following David “Murph” Murphy’s departure in 2014.  Murph’s departure

Following the official announcement that their new album, THE UNIVERSE INSIDE--the band's first new full-length studio album in nearly seven years--is coming September 2, acclaimed electronic rock band STS9 has now revealed dates for a fall headlining tour in its support.

The members of STS9Hunter Brown (guitar/sequences), Jeffree Lerner (percussion), David Phipps (keyboards/synths), Zach Velmer (drums) and Alana Rocklin (bass)—went through a lot over the course of making this record. In order to connect and express something more direct than they could with the music alone, the band chose to utilize more lyrics than they have on any of their previous efforts.

The 16th annual Summer Camp Music Festival shined vibrantly Friday morning, as fans from across the nation flooded through the gates of the glorious Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Illinois for another epic celebration of music, arts and life. Born in 2001, the monumental event has grown to be one of the most celebrated Midwest events of the summer, hosting national acts such as Neil Young, Trey Anastasio, Steve Miller Band, Tom Petty, Widespread Panic and many, many more.
