Friday, August 16^th, 2013, at White River State Park in Indianapolis was perhaps my favorite night of the STUMS9 tour so far.  Maybe I love it so much it’s because it is in my hometown, but White River State Park is a great place to see a show. It was a beautiful summer night, not too hot, like it was last year, and there were wispy clouds in the sky.  The stage is set in downtown Indianapolis off of the canal that runs through the city.

After a successful 2012 debut, which featured a wide array of musical genres ranging from bluegrass to dubstep, Summer Set Music Festival makes its triumphant return to Somerset, Wisconsin in what is sure to be the one of the premier Midwest festivals this summer.

This past Memorial Day weekend marked the 13^th anniversary of Summer Camp Music Festival, and annual event that takes place at the celebrated Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Illinois. Since the festival’s beginning in 2001, it has grown rapidly into a bona fide heavy-hitter event by delivering major artists of multiple genres year after year.

We’re about an hour away from kicking off the music here on the second day of the tenth annual Wakarusa Music Festival at Mulberry Mountain in Ozark, Ark.After a rough first day of shows getting rained out and mud EVERYWHERE, I have high hopes that things will start to dry out at least by the time we leave Monday. Right now it’s pretty overcast, but I haven’t seen any rain yet.

Camp Bisco has announced its full lineup of performers slated for the twelfth annual three-day music and arts festival, in Mariaville, New York this July 11th-13th.

I’m coming up on my fourth Wakarusa, and it’s hard to put into words exactly what I’m the most excited about because I just come into the festival KNOWING I’m going to have a great time. Each and every year the festival grows, and I can’t wait to see what all is on-site for the 10^th festival, taking place on Mulberry Mountain in Ozark, Ark. May 30 to June 2.
