American rock prodigy Steve Kimock took over Denver’s Cervantes’ Other Side for two nights of funk, rock, and blues this past weekend, playing an exotic orchestration featuring jam-fueled originals and traditional covers alike.

On a day when college football’s number one ranked Georgia Bulldogs collapsed in laughable fashion on the road against Auburn-that other team from Alabama-fellow sons of Athens’, Perpetual Groove found themselves in a completely different scenario.

Recently, acclaimed New Orleans-based future funk collective Naughty Professor released their highly-anticipated new album, Identity. Available now on all digital service providers, Identity can also be purchased physically as a CD/DVD bundle, which includes in-studio footage of every track on the album, here.

For years now, these events organized by J2G Productions, along with the Love Shack, have been the hottest dance parties in Denver. Most of the reason why is because when a large group of extremely talented musicians get together to jam, everyone does their best to represent. I saw these first attending eight different Bonnaroo Music Festivals, where they hosted Super Jams and had collaborations on nearly every stage.

Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad's Make It Better has debuted at #1 on the Billboard Reggae Chart. Make It Better (released September 16, 2016 on Rootfire Cooperative) is the band's sixth studio album and their second release to claim the #1 spot on the Billboard Reggae Chart.

Continuing a highly successful run through 2016, Stick Figure rang in the New Year with a pair of sold out shows at Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver.  Colorado has been kind to the band the past year, and in return they’ve delivered a number of shows across the state. No resolution should change that.
