The magnificent Fall of 1973 finally gets its Road Trips due with the release Road Trips Vol. 4 No. 3.  Featuring the entire November 21, 1973 concert from Denver Coliseum and a bustling triumvirate from the previous night's killer show (11/20/73), this 3-disc set delivers up spectacular live renditions of soon-to-be classic tunes from the band's then-recent studio recording, Wake Of The Flood.

The beauty of the Grateful Dead legacy extends far past the demise of the original line-up that sadly ended with the death of Jerry Garcia in 1995. On April 17, 1972 in Copenhagen, Denmark, the Dead played their first-ever live performance of "He's Gone," although you couldn't tell by the confidence of this version. You'll notice that the "Goin' where the wind don't blow so strange..." bridge is absent here, as it had not yet been incorporated into the song. It was added to the song later in the tour.
