Homeschooled in the Pacific Northwest, he was nestled in the church and given nothing but praise. After several debatably successful stints in music academia, he followed the only woman he ever loved to San Francisco. It was there that he would lose her, but find a love for songwriting. Drawing inspiration from Jeff Buckley, Paul Simon, and The Barr Brothers, he finds peace in the melancholy.
