I must admit, it was a definite benefit to be in the Mitten beneath the starlit skies of the 10th anniversary of Hoxeyville 2012.  Michigan people have manners that transmit an infinite welcome.  Their wit submitted to my ultimate delight as I attended my first ever Hoxeyville Music Festival.  Ten years of Hoxeyvillians got together over the August 16 – 19^th weekend and threw an exquisite party to celebrate the beauty of a tight knit famil

Three time Grammy winner, Mickey Hart, will perform with his band at Stellarfest at the Mishawaka Amphitheatre in Bellvue, CO on August 24th and August 25th.  The show will feature brand new material as well as selections of Hart's greatest hits and Grateful Dead songs.

Fresh water and blue skies await me this weekend at the 10^th annual Hoxeyville Music Festival.  Life has been rough for me the past few weeks.  I’m gonna pack my rain gear, a few hoodies, my golf bag, and for this special weekend, I am actually going to skip the sandals and bring some real shoes.

Work sucks. Bill collectors are calling.  I’m ready for an escape. 

Saturday Vibes. The festival is well into full swing at this point. Rowdies who enjoyed late night shows in the wee-hours of the morning such as the Gigantic Underground Conspiracy will start to peek out of the holes at around 1PM. As much as I’m sure it was a blast, I had to save my energy for my earliest start of the weekend so far for a set.

Shout out to the Vibe Tribe out there for Dylan Muhlberg. This year I have the distinct pleasure of covering the 17^th annual Gathering of the Vibes festival, which is celebrating its eighth year in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Bridgeport is a diverse city on the Connecticut shoreline off of the Long Island Sound. The venue, Seaside Park, has hosted the Gathering all these years and by all counts is an incredible site.
