Indy Festival Partners in association with the Indiana State Fairgrounds are proud to unveil an exciting lineup along with additional details for the second edition of the ALL IN Music & Arts Festival, set for Saturday, Sept. 9 and Sunday, Sept. 10, 2023 in Indianapolis. The festival made its triumphant debut in 2022 and is known for its intimate capacity and comfortable amenities that allow for a truly special experience for attendees, with an emphasis on dazzling performers.

For the last two-and-a-half decades, Chicago-formed improv-rock outfit Umphrey’s McGee have been wowing fans, critics, music nerds, and passersby with their wholly unique brand of tunes and explorations. Instead of celebrating 25 years together with a gold watch or some engraved silver plate, the band is continuing to break the mold by finding new ways to give back to their rabid community of fans during this momentous occasion; known henceforth as umXXV.

Kyle Hollingsworth and Joel Cummins have been trying to do collaborative shows for years and it's finally happening this month. The two keyboardists took turns taking fan requests to play the other's songs from the SCI and UM catalogs.

As an alternative to the traditional campout festival, the fourth 4848 Festival is once again offering festival and music lovers an evolved summer experience. Taking place July 13 - 15 atop Snowshoe Mountain in Snowshoe, WV (at 4848’ above sea level), patrons get everything a festival has to offer, while experiencing premier accommodations within the resort’s Mountain Village, complete with modern amenities atypical to a three-day summer festival.

In the twenty-four years since eclectic improv-rock band Umphrey’s McGee formed, their sound has been an amalgamation of genres, moods, and tempos, effortlessly flowing from one feeling to the next throughout an album or concert—or sometimes within a singular song. But with time and repetition comes wisdom and maturity, both personally and musically, and in the case of the band’s new album Asking For A Friend, Umphrey’s McGee entered the recording studio with something to say and a wise, measured way to say it.

With five sets and two encores over the course of two nights, Umphrey’s McGee concluded 2022 and kicked off the new year in Atlanta at the Coca-Cola Roxy.

Night one on Dec. 30 featured two sets and an encore totaling 15 songs.

The stardust has settled down so let’s recap the first-ever Sacred Rose Festival. Opening up a new bracket for Chicago by seasoned festival producers, Sacred Rose certainly had some highs and some lows but one thing is for sure Sacred Rose was one for the ages and one we hope will return.

The inaugural Sacred Rose Fest is less than 2 weeks away. For the first time ever there will be a weekend full of music as diverse as the Grateful Dead in its current form. Phil Lesh playing with Nels Cline and Jeff Tweedy as well as Karl Denson, Stu Allen, Grahame Lesh, Jeff Chimenti, and Elliott Peck all in one headlining slot!?! Khruangbin, JRAD, Umphrey’s McGee, Disco Biscuits, Lotus, Elliott Peck’s Midnight North, Holly Bowling, and the Gone Gone Beyond are kicking it all off?!? The list is exciting and inviting.
